Chinese New Year: Year Of The Cat

CatBootIt’s true, I have been hibernating… at least from the internet lately. But now it’s time to get back in the swing of things, blog style. And although it still feels like winter weather outside, it’s more than time to shed your shearling shoes for something equally as cute and cozy. Lucky Cat Shearling Boots by Bamboo provide all the comfort and none of the cruelty with their faux shearling interior and psuedo suede exterior. By traditional Chinese standards, oh ten is technically the Year of the Tiger, but mini Maneki Neko makes such a fetching little felidae that he deserves to steal some spotlight.

I know that the shearling/suede boots are all the rage (have been for years, now, I guess), but I’d like to see some with really bold patterns – kind of like how we see the bright floral rain boots everywhere.

And I’m not talking about the Coach boots. I don’t like those at all…

But Maneki Neko is such a plump little pal! I want them even more now. Too bad amazon.com sold out. I found them on electriqueboutique.com, which I’ve never heard of. Sketch? I’ll probably get them any way.

Not sure how I feel about boldly patterned boots. I’ll get back to you.
